Tokenization converts traditional assets (like stocks) into digital tokens that can be bought, sold, or held on our platform securely and efficiently. These tokens track the behavior of the underlying asset.
Every time an asset is bought or sold on our platform, two things happen:
The underlying asset is bought/sold in the United States
The digital token that tracks the underlying asset is "created"/"destroyed"
This means that assets traded on Berry are constantly backed 1:1 by their underlying assets.
